About the Role GA is seeking part-time instructors for the 24-week Data Analytics Bootcamp to teach and mentor students in Bahrain onsite, helping them turn messy real-world datasets into actionable insights using Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python. You will work with GA staff to deliver a rigorous, project-based curriculum and guide students toward a strong final project that showcases their abilities to hiring managers. Join GA to help shape the talents of the next generation of data professionals. What You'll Do
- Teach Sundays to Wednesdays, 6pm to 9pm, onsite on the Bahrain campus for the 24-week course.
- Prepare lessons and materials a few hours per day leveraging GA curriculum content.
- Work alongside GA staff and the teaching team to meet the needs and learning styles of students.
- Guide students through development of a stellar final project that will showcase their abilities to hiring managers.
- Facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community.
- Inspire students to persevere through the challenges of learning a new suite of skills. What We're Looking For
- Strong experience using Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
- Eager to shape the skills, minds, and trajectories of eager General Assembly students.
- You are the person that your colleagues naturally gravitate to when they are trying to figure something out.
- You have at least 3 years of work experience in a role where you have been responsible for cleaning messy data, analyzing the data and presenting data-based insights.
