Data Analyst

About the Role Data Analyst to work for an American multinational energy corporation predominantly in oil and gas. Location: Mexico- remote. You will leverage data analytics, governance and BI tools to extract insights, support data-driven decisions, and ensure data quality across data sources. What You'll Do

• Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership and Agile mindset; support the team and follow Agile/Scrum rules.
• Provide consultative support and advice on technology projects led by business partners.
• Work with business partners to understand requirements for data use, analysis, and quality.
• Identify and aggregate data from internal and external sources; identify new opportunities to leverage data or integrate applications.
• Coordinate with data owners to ensure data accessibility and quality.
• Document data mapping with business requirements; contribute to data standards and guardrails; maintain focus on data quality.
• Act as interface with engaging Product Owners and scrum teams; coordinate GIS/MCP IM activities; leverage BI tools to analyze and validate data. What We're Looking For
• Lean-Agile leadership and an Agile mindset; experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate into data use, analysis and quality.
• Experience identifying and integrating data from multiple sources; data quality focus.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Spotfire, Power Apps) and data platforms (Databricks) plus SQL and scripting (Python/PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Azure services (Azure DevOps, Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage) to support data workflows. Nice to Have
• Experience working in the energy/oil & gas sectors; data governance and data standards development.
