About the Role As a Data Analyst at Sporty, you’ll mine through petabytes of data to provide key insights that drive core business decisions. You’ll create dashboards used daily by product managers, traders, and executives, and deliver in-depth reports with freedom on your methodology while helping ensure the stability and reliability of our reporting infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business decision-making.
• Design, define, and monitor core business KPIs to evaluate product and operational performance.
• Partner with product, marketing, and business teams to translate questions into structured data analyses.
• Deliver clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks enabling self-service analytics.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and emerging business needs.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by validating datasets and collaborating with data engineering when needed.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in a similar data-driven role.
• Strong experience with KPIs and OKRs.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Familiarity with Python and a range of BI and data visualization tools.
• Strong knowledge of ETL data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of A/B Testing.
• Familiarity with Airflow.
• Understanding of relational databases and data warehouses.
• Proactive and self-driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with machine learning.
• Relevant knowledge or experience in the gaming industry.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Airflow and Metabase.
