Who You’ll Work With

You'll join our Slalom team to help deliver on complex Data and AI projects.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and optimize curated analytics datasets in Databricks using SQL and dbt to support executive and operational Tableau reporting.

• Develop and maintain Tableau-ready fact and dimension models, ensuring data is structured for reporting accuracy, performance, refresh requirements, and business usability in Tableau. Client will do the Tableau work but needs to be Tableau ready.

• Partner with business and client stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, validate data definitions, map business logic, and resolve data quality issues.

• Implement and support a limited number of ingestion processes, primarily to bring Excel-based source data into Databricks for downstream transformation and reporting.

• Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of building data reports, primarily for senior leaders/executives

• Experience building reports in databricks using SQL and dbt

• Experience building reports in Tableau

• Strong communication; ability to partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel

• Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, the hourly pay range is $60/hr to $90/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
