About the Role
Join Ubisoft as a Data Analyst focused on LiveOps for a mobile game. You’ll enable data-driven decisions for leaders by building dashboards, defining datasets, and tracking key metrics during live events, feature launches, and content updates.
What You'll Do
- Define datasets and dashboards to support LiveOps decision-making.
- Track KPIs such as DAU, Retention, Churn, ARPU, and session metrics; create daily/weekly/monthly reports on player behavior, performance accuracy, engagement, and monetization trends.
- Proactively identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in player behavior and recommend data-driven improvements to leadership.
- Collaborate with local and international stakeholders to produce clear, accurate dashboards.
- Identify drop-offs in purchase funnels and payment failures to reduce revenue loss.
- Prepare quarterly/yearly licensing reports - streaming costs for maps played.
- Innovation: suggest new KPIs, dashboards, or reporting improvements; explore emerging analytics tools and visualization best practices; contribute to analytics strategy for a live, fast-moving mobile game.
- Detect and propose process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Experience with live products, mobile games, or digital services is a plus.
- Core analytics skills: strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, understanding data types, statistics, and metrics-driven decision making.
- Data & Database Technologies: 3+ years of SQL; familiarity with RDBMS and NoSQL databases; knowledge of Hive DB, file formats, and data flow pipelines.
- Exposure to Python for data analysis or automation.
- Visualization & Platforms: 3+ years of experience with Databricks, Power BI, and similar visualization tools; ability to build and maintain clear, actionable dashboards.
- Passion for analytics, games, and live service models; curious about trends in data, visualization, and player behavior analysis; detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused.
Nice to Have
- Additional experience in gaming analytics or live service environments is a plus.
