Overview

The Consumer Insights & Analytics Team is looking for a motivated contractor to support consumer research and data analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, identifying trends, and turning data into clear, actionable insights that support business decisions.

The contractor will lead ongoing and custom research using customer panels and analyze consumer perceptions of brands and the U.S. retail landscape. These insights will help improve marketing strategies, store experiences, and merchandising decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quantitative research projects, including monthly and seasonal tracking studies and customer panel engagement activities.
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify consumer perceptions, brand strengths, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate consumer insights across the organization.
  • Analyze quantitative data and use qualitative research to understand the reasons behind consumer behaviors and trends.
  • Collaborate with business partners to present findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Create clear, compelling presentations that tell a story through data.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in consumer insights or market research.

  • Strong curiosity and interest in understanding customer behavior and market trends.

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, meaningful insights.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain findings concisely and effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to understand the bigger picture.

  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
