About this role
About the Role Data Analyst with a strong technical foundation to support adjoe's Anti-Fraud team in the AdTech space. You’ll design and run analytics on large-scale event data, monitor anomaly signals, and help ensure authentic reward attribution. You’ll own end-to-end data flows and contribute to building reusable analytics infrastructure. What You'll Do
- Write complex SQL queries and Python-based data pipelines to uncover insights and optimize large-scale data processes.
- Work with anomaly detection techniques (clustering, distribution analysis, cross-population comparisons) and balance sensitivity with business impact.
- Reason about experiments and statistics; design tests, interpret results, and apply statistical concepts.
- Own the systems and data flows end-to-end, including architecture tradeoffs and rationale for design decisions.
- Build reusable automation pipelines and data visibility solutions; leverage Airflow or dbt to automate workflows across teams.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders; translate findings into actionable recommendations and drive decisions. What We're Looking For
- 2+ years as a Data Analyst; fluent in SQL and Python; ability to write complex queries; big data optimization; analysis pipelines.
- 1+ years experience with anomaly detection algorithms (clustering, distribution analysis, cross-population comparisons); balancing sensitivity and business impact.
- Statistically grounded; comfortable designing experiments, running tests, interpreting results.
- System-level thinking; can discuss architecture, tradeoffs, and rationale for design decisions.
- Automation-minded; build reusable frameworks, automated pipelines, and data visibility solutions with cross-team value.
- Experience with Airflow or dbt is a strong plus.
- Collaborative and business-aware; communicate findings with stakeholders and own insights.
