About this role

About the Role TransUnion is seeking a Data Analysis Manager to lead a team responsible for evaluating new and existing data assets across TransUnion products and services. The role focuses on end-to-end data source assessment, standardizing due diligence methodologies, and translating analytical findings into actionable product and business decisions. It is a hybrid role with in-person work at TU offices for at least two days per week. What You'll Do

  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for evaluating new and existing data assets for use across TransUnion products and services.
  • Oversee end-to-end assessment of alternative and traditional data sources, including planning, execution, coverage analysis, quality validation, and business value determination.
  • Develop and standardize scalable due diligence methodologies including data profiling, coverage analysis, gap analysis, lift analysis, and simulation testing.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights that influence product strategy, business decisions, and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Partner with Product, Data Acquisition, Solutions, and Technology teams to identify and prioritize opportunities that enhance existing products and support new offerings.
  • Drive enterprise data quality initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices across data management processes.
  • Support data onboarding, cataloging, and analysis activities within the OneTru platform.
  • Establish and maintain standards for data governance, data lineage, access controls, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that influence data investment decisions and enterprise data strategy.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading data analytics or data strategy teams with a track record of coaching and developing staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee end-to-end evaluation of data sources (alternative and traditional) and determine business value.
  • Strong expertise in data profiling, coverage analysis, gap analysis, lift analysis, and simulation testing, with a focus on standardizing due diligence methodologies.
  • Excellent ability to translate analytical findings into actionable insights that influence product strategy and revenue opportunities.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Data Acquisition, Solutions, and Technology teams to identify and prioritize opportunities.
  • Background driving enterprise data quality initiatives and implementing data management best practices, including data governance, lineage, access controls, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with data onboarding, cataloging, and analytics workflows within enterprise platforms (e.g., OneTru).
  • Strong leadership in cross-functional initiatives and ability to shape enterprise data strategy. Compensation & Benefits
