About the Role The Cytotechnologist will perform cytology screening and analysis across Endeavor Health's affiliated hospitals, supporting diagnostic decision-making and patient care. This position is available as full-time or PRN across multiple locations. What You'll Do
- Screen and analyze cytology specimens to detect cellular abnormalities.
- Utilize traditional and modern laboratory methods and ensure accuracy in specimen analysis, including color differentiation.
- Prepare and review slides, document findings, and maintain quality and compliance with lab accreditation and safety standards.
- Collaborate with pathology, laboratory staff, and clinicians to support diagnostic processes and patient care. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology, Biology, or related field from a CAAHEP-accredited program; completion of an accredited cytotechnology training program.
- Cytotechnologist/Cytologist, CT(ASCP) certification or eligible within the first year of employment for new graduates.
- Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and modern laboratory methods with accurate color discrimination for specimen analysis. Nice to Have
- Strong color discrimination abilities for accurate specimen analysis (listed as preferred skill). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $35.16 - $54.50 hourly (USD).
