About the Role The Cylinder Processor will process medical and industrial gas cylinders at the Hahnville, LA facility, following established guidelines to ensure safe filling and compliance. The role involves inspections, product handling, warehouse documentation, and operation of forklift and related equipment to support production and logistics.
What You'll Do
- Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using plant guidelines and procedures to fill safely and accurately.
- Conduct cylinder inspections (visual, physical, and odor tests) to determine need for retesting or repairs before filling.
- Check cylinder quantities, styles, and product; fill as needed.
- Load and unload product from the weekly shuttle truck.
- Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
- Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork; enter quantities, styles, and products into the computer to justify stock inventory.
- Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental procedures; operate forklift and other plant vehicles.
What We're Looking For
- High school degree or GED.
- More than one (1+) year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
- A strong mechanical background is desired.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
