About the Role Join Linde as a Cylinder Processor in Richmond, VA. In this role you will process medical and industrial gas cylinders following established plant guidelines and procedures, perform inspections to determine retesting or repair needs, and handle filling, loading/unloading, and related warehouse activities to maintain inventory and quality control. What You'll Do
- Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
- Conduct cylinder inspections (visual, physical, and odor tests) to determine the need for retesting or repairs before filling.
- Check cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product.
- Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
- Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
- Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork, and enter the quantities, styles, and products filled into the computer to justify stock inventory.
- Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and governmental procedures.
- Operate forklift trucks and other plant vehicles. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- More than one (1+) year experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical background is desired.
- Good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $21.63-$31.73 per hour (hourly).
