About the Role The Cylinder Processor role at Linde involves processing medical and industrial gas cylinders in Pekin, IL, following established plant guidelines and procedures. You will perform inspections and preparations before filling to ensure safety, quality, and inventory control. What You'll Do
- Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
- Conduct cylinder inspections (visual, physical, and odor tests) to determine the need for retesting or repairs before filling.
- Check cylinder quantities, styles, and product; fill as necessary.
- Load and unload product from the weekly shuttle truck.
- Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
- Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork; enter quantities, styles, and products into the computer to justify stock.
- Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental procedures; operate a forklift and other plant vehicles. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
- A strong mechanical background is desired.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. Nice to Have
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical abilities. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 hourly.
- Work Schedule: 1st Shift.
