Job title: Cylinder Processor

About the Role This role processes medical and industrial gas cylinders in Slatersville, RI, following established plant guidelines and procedures. You will inspect cylinders to determine retesting or repair needs, fill cylinders, and manage related paperwork while operating plant equipment in a safe, compliant environment.

What You'll Do

  • Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
  • Conduct cylinder inspections to determine the need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
  • Check cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill as needed.
  • Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
  • Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
  • Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork; enter quantities, styles and products into the computer to justify stock inventory.
  • Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental procedures; operate a forklift and other plant vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • High school degree or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical background is desired.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $30.06 per hour.
