About the Role The Cylinder Prep / Yard Supervisor will manage and supervise all Cylinder Prep and Cylinder Yard personnel, ensuring safety, timely production, and regulatory compliance. This role leads operations, drives continuous improvement, and collaborates with multiple plants and customers.

What You'll Do

• Manage and supervise all Cylinder Prep and Cylinder Yard personnel, including evaluations, hiring, training, development, and discipline
• Plan and adjust daily work assignments and schedules to meet priorities, capacity, and workforce availability while controlling overtime
• Ensure a safe work environment and promptly address safety issues
• Oversee production queues and monitor queue times for Cylinder Prep and Cylinder Yard SAP work centers
• Coordinate activities with other plants and branches as needed
• Resolve Cylinder Prep and Cylinder Yard–related issues for internal and external customers
• Ensure accurate SAP barcode scanning and compliance with package marking and DOT documentation requirements
• Collect and analyze operational data to drive continuous process improvements
• Set improvement goals and maintain process controls, SOPs, inventory, and supplies

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• More than five (5+) years of experience in industrial gases operations preferred
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Windows
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply government, international, DOT, and internal regulations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to lead, motivate teams, and manage conflict
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
