Job title: Cylinder Control Auditor
About the Role Join Linde as a Cylinder Control Auditor supporting cylinder inventories and history audits for customers. You will perform on-site cylinder counts, document audit findings, and collaborate with sales, accounts receivable, and the cylinder tracking team to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate balances.
What You'll Do
- Perform physical cylinder audits for customers as requested by the sales team, accounts receivable team or Cylinder Tracking team, including preparing the audit form, visiting the customer, and counting the cylinders on customer sites.
- Perform paper audits of cylinder history in CU, CU Image Viewer, TruTrak and JDE to reconcile balances.
- Enter audit findings in CU and TruTrak to reconcile balances; prepare credit requests and loss of use documentation for accounts receivable.
- Work with Territory Manager, General Sales Manager, and AR Manager on appropriate resolution for cylinder discrepancies.
- Work with customers to resolve cylinder issues and negotiate loss of use charges and open rental invoices.
- Reduce the number of negative cylinder balances for the LG&E South Region.
- Understand the cylinder barcoding process and barcode cylinders as needed during audits.
- Review all in-house accounts monthly and work with the branches to ensure no cylinder balances have been posted on the house accounts such as CAXXX, SUXXX, etc.
What We're Looking For
- A high School Diploma / GED is required.
- Strong Excel and computer skills.
- Daily travel in greater Houston area.

- Pay Range: $24.17 - $35.46 per hour, depending on experience.
