About the Role Cycle Counter I at Milwaukee Tool is responsible for maintaining accurate count on in-house inventory and supporting distribution operations. This role emphasizes timely, accurate cycle counting and inventory integrity across locations.
What You'll Do
- Perform cycle counts and enter data via RF scanner
- Physically count components and parts to match in-house inventory
- Inform proper personnel of shortages/overages, damages and thefts
- Adhere to safety, quality, and company policies; learn OMS processes
- Meet daily production goals for cycle counts and related tasks; support other shifts/buildings as needed
- Operate order pickers and pallet jacks (EPJ/MPJ) as required
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the locations
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in shipping and receiving; preferably in automated distribution environments
- Strong computer and math skills
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment; standing, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work different shifts as needed and adapt to changes
Nice to Have
- Experience with WMS and ERP systems
