Job title: Cycle Counter/Equip. Order Picker 1st Shift 7a-3p
About the Role The Cycle Counter I role is responsible for maintaining accurate counts of all in-house inventory. You’ll work to ensure inventory accuracy using RF scanning and cycle-count processes, support order picking and warehouse operations, and uphold safety and quality policies to enable production goals.
What You'll Do
- Perform cycle counts and meet daily production goals by completing cycle counts and related tasks in a timely manner.
- Count accurately and enter data via RF scanner.
- Physically count components and parts to correlate with in-house inventory.
- Adhere to safety, quality, company policies and requirements; inform proper personnel of material shortages/overages, damages and thefts.
- Learn and adhere to OMSs as they pertain to inventory processes.
- Be able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned, including working other shifts and buildings as needed.
- Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of the locations and identify other opportunities for improvement.
- Operate order pickers and pallet jacks (EPJ and MPJ); use equipment to perform cycle counts.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience in shipping and receiving; experience in an automated Distribution Center environment preferred.
- Strong computer skills and math skills.
- Experience with WMS and ERP systems preferred.
- Able to stand for long periods; repetitive motion; able to walk/stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow company policies; able to adapt to change.
Nice to Have
- Experience with WMS and ERP systems (preferred).
