Job title: Cycle Counter - 1st Shift
About the Role Cycle Counter I is responsible for maintaining accurate count on all in-house inventory in a 1st shift environment (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM). You’ll contribute to reliable inventory control and efficient warehouse operations within Milwaukee Tool’s manufacturing setting.
What You'll Do
- Perform cycle counts and enter data via RF scanner to maintain accurate in-house inventory
- Physically count components and parts to correlate with in-house inventory
- Inform proper personnel of material shortage/overage, damages and thefts
- Adhere to safety, quality, and company policies; follow OMS inventory processes
- Meet daily production goals by completing cycle counts and related tasks; adapt to changes and may work other shifts/buildings as needed
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of locations; identify opportunities for improvement
- Operate order pickers and pallet jacks (EPJ and MPJ) as required to perform cycle counts
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience in shipping and receiving required; preferred experience in automated distribution center environments
- Strong computer and math skills
- Preferred experience with WMS and ERP systems
- Experience operating order pickers and pallet jacks (EPJ/MPJ)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; able to stand/walk for extended periods
- Comfort working in a Manufacturing Plant with varying temperatures
- Safety-conscious with the ability to follow policies and procedures
Nice to Have
- Experience with WMS and ERP systems (preferred)
- Additional warehouse equipment familiarity
