About the Role MTSI is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to help protect and defend the organization’s information systems in Springfield, VA. This role contributes to secure engineering practices and collaborates with IT and engineering teams. What You'll Do
- Develop and implement cybersecurity controls to protect networks, systems, and applications.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitor security events to detect and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure development and deployment of solutions.
- Assist with risk assessments, access control, and security policy enforcement. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience or hands-on security engineering experience.
