Cyber Security Director

About the Role In Copenhagen, EY's Cyber Security team is seeking a Cyber Security Director who excels in either technical cybersecurity domains or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). You will lead with expertise, drive growth, and deliver security advisory and transformation engagements for clients, playing a large role in EY's cybersecurity team. You will own revenue generation and contribute to the expansion of our cybersecurity business through targeted sales and client relationships. What You'll Do

• Lead projects and drive cybersecurity excellence through technical leadership or GRC alignment.
• Deliver security advisory and transformation engagements for clients.
• Manage project delivery, foster a learning culture, and drive business development through strategic client relationships.
• Identify, develop, and close opportunities within the cybersecurity domain; lead sales pursuits, shape proposals, and position EY’s cybersecurity offerings to win engagements.
• Take ownership of revenue generation and contribute to growth of EY’s cybersecurity business. What We're Looking For
• Relevant education in IT or cybersecurity, with relevant professional certifications.
• At least 7+ years of experience within the cybersecurity domain, whether technical security or GRC.
• A strong professional network and a track record of successful deliveries and results.
• Recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA (for technical profiles) or relevant GRC qualifications (ISO27001:27002, ISO27005, NIS2 Lead Implementer, etc.).
• Proficiency and experience in managing complex security threats or implementing comprehensive GRC frameworks.
• Experience from the consulting industry with a strong understanding of how work is delivered in this environment.
• Ideally, native Danish speaker with professional proficiency in English, with strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A structured approach to challenges and the ability to thrive in the face of ambiguity. Nice to Have
