About this role
Join the team building an AI-first company
Hostinger serves more than 5.5 million clients across 150 countries, but we're still excited about what we're creating next.
AI is changing how we build products, support customers, work together, and solve problems. It helps us move faster, spend less time on repetitive work, and focus on bigger ideas.
If you want your work to influence both what we build and how we build it, we'd like to meet you.
Our culture: Guided by 10 company principles.
Your role at Hostinger
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will help us spot threats early, investigate what looks off, and close the gaps before someone else finds them. This isn't a passive monitoring role where you just watch alerts go by. You’ll actively investigate incidents, hunt threats, perform vulnerability assessments, and automate defense mechanisms alongside other engineering teams. You'll take ownership of security incidents from detection to post-mortem remediation, ensuring global hosting platform stays resilient under pressure.

Your day-to-day
- Dig into suspicious activity (compromised accounts, malware, phishing, abuse of our platform) and document what happened, how, and what we do next.
- Manage SIEM, SOAR, EDR tools, tune detection rules, reduce false positives, and automate repeat findings rather than manual work.
- Use AI tools to speed up log analysis, triage, and reporting, and share what works with the team.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting to catch zero-days and emerging web exploits.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lessons-learned reviews following security incidents to continuously harden our platform.
- Partner with engineering teams to identify security gaps and convert them into automated, secure-by-design architectural controls.
What will help you succeed
- Comfort with Linux: navigating the command line, reading logs, and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center), threat-hunting, incident response, or security analyst role.
- Knowledge of common attack techniques and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP Top 10.
- Basic coding or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go to automate routine security tasks.
- An analytical mindset: you question what you see, check your assumptions, and document what you find.
- Good written and spoken English skills to effectively document incidents and communicate risks across non-technical teams.
Meet your team
You'd join a team of thirteen and work closely with the engineers covering detection and response, vulnerability management, and cloud security. An experienced security engineer will be your go-to mentor, and you'll own a real detection or automation project within your first months. Day to day, you'd partner with the infrastructure teams on what's happening across the fleet, with software engineers and product teams on fixing what we find, with IT Workspace on employee devices and accounts, and with Customer Support and abuse handling when an issue reaches our customers.
