Job title: CW Engineer
About the Role Volt is seeking a CW Engineer in Georgetown, KY to support project feasibility, scope, schedule and budget; develop scope of work and bid packages; review drawings; ensure safety compliance; coordinate with contractors and suppliers; and drive on-time project delivery in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule, and budget
- Create scope of work, bid package, and project specifications
- Review technical drawings, provide feedback, and negotiate changes
- Evaluate safety compliance to local and national codes
- Collaborate with 3rd party Safety Compliance Contractors
- Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones
- Supervise contractors in green-field or brown-field environments
- Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers
- Develop countermeasures for project delays to ensure timely completion
What We're Looking For
- BS in Engineering, Technical Trader Certification or equivalent experience
- 3+ years manufacturing environment
- 3+ years project management
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Bid spec development and contractor negotiation
- 2+ years technical drawing review experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $35-$45 per hour (USD)
