About the Role The Hershey Company is seeking a Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist based in Senai, Johor, Malaysia. This role is responsible for country of origin and preferential free trade agreements evaluation and for maintaining compliance data in SAP GTS, including preparing Customs binding rulings and supporting global trade processes and system interfaces. What You'll Do
- Research and assign required HTS classifications to company’s relevant items (raw materials, intermediate products, packaging, finished goods and equipment) following Classification SOPs and properly citing General Rules of Interpretation, General Notes and Customs Rulings; maintain records reflecting drawings and other supporting data to achieve high accuracy.
- Perform yearly reviews of previously assigned HTS codes to update changes.
