Job title: Customs Analyst (m/f/d) Hybrid, Kraków
This is a fixed term contract - 12 months
We’re looking for Customs Analyst for Amer Sports’ office in Kraków Amer Sports is a global collective of iconic sports and outdoor brands, powered by a community of people who share a passion for authenticity, impact, and excellence. As a Customs Analyst, you support efficient and compliant cross-border operations by turning logistics, commercial, and customs data into reliable reports, actionable insights, and clear operational instructions. The role covers the full analytical cycle, from data collection and validation through reporting, issue identification, and preparation of broker instructions. By standardizing customs workflows and improving data accuracy, the role helps reduce manual errors, accelerate customs clearance, and strengthen compliance across daily operations. Training and support will be provided to build expertise in customs operations and related systems.
What you will be doing: -Prepare and maintain reports on upcoming shipments, customs status, and data quality issues. -Analyze logistics, commercial, and customs data to identify inconsistencies and initiate appropriate corrections. -Monitor third-country shipments and verify customs status in cooperation with internal stakeholders and external brokers. -Prepare clear customs instructions for external brokers to support timely and accurate customs clearance. -Collaborate with Customs, Logistics, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure aligned processes and reliable shipment execution. -Support the preparation and filing of customs declarations where required.
What you need to succeed: Required Skills -Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail -Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel -Ability to work with logistics, commercial, and customs-related data -Structured, reliable, and proactive working style -Strong motivation, ownership, and commitment to assigned tasks -English language proficiency at minimum B2 level -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, customs, business administration, finance, data analytics, or a related field. -Practical experience in customs operations, logistics, data analysis, or supply chain processes may be considered in place of formal education Nice to have: -Experience in data analysis, customs operations, logistics, or supply chain processes -Experience working with SAP, especially SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA -Familiarity with customs declarations, broker instructions, or import/export processes -Additional language skills are an advantage -Relevant professional training or certification in customs, import/export, trade compliance, or logistics are an advantage What’s in it for you At Amer Sports, you’ll be part of a global community of people who care about what they do and how they do it.
