Customer Support Representative | Life Sciences

Location: India

A rapidly growing life sciences organisation is seeking a Customer Support Representative to provide best-in-class support to customers across the biotechnology and research sectors. This role will focus on customer service, order management, sales support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a seamless customer experience and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries relating to products, orders, and services.
• Resolve customer issues via phone, email, and digital channels while maintaining high service levels.
• Process and manage sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Provide guidance on product selection, order status, and online ordering platforms.
• Support internal sales teams with quotations, order tracking, and CRM administration.
• Liaise with commercial, technical, and operations teams to deliver effective customer solutions and proactive updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.

• 1-2 years’ experience within biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or a related industry.

• Previous customer service, customer success, sales support, or order management experience.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience using CRM platforms and business systems (Salesforce advantageous).

• Ideal Background Candidates may come from customer support, customer success, sales operations, order management, or commercial support roles within biotechnology, diagnostics, laboratory services, healthcare, or broader life sciences organisations. Strong customer-facing skills combined with scientific exposure would be highly advantageous.
