Snapshot of your day
To address a significant operational gap in coordinating critical Third-Party Cyber Risk Management (TPRM) assessments and proactively resolve escalating delays, Siemens Energy is establishing a dedicated Customer Success Champion within the Cybersecurity Operational Excellence team in Portugal. This senior professional role is designed to handle an increased volume of incoming requests and provide the specialized coordination needed to safeguard our supply chain. To achieve these business aims, the role focuses on three core areas: stakeholder relationship management, strategic coordination of supplier assessments, and executive reporting. These pillars ensure that high-priority assessments are expedited and aligned with broader cybersecurity objectives. Given the focus on stakeholder alignment and technical risk coordination, the ideal candidate will possess deep experience in customer success or account management within cybersecurity or TPRM, alongside strong analytical skills and professional fluency in both English and German.
How you'll make a difference
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, managing expectations and acting as a trusted advisor for TPRM assessment processes
- Proactively manage and resolve complex business escalations regarding assessment delays, identifying root causes to prevent future bottlenecks
- Champion a customer-centric approach within the TPRM team to ensure business needs are effectively integrated into cyber risk workflows
- Coordinate incoming supplier assessment requests, prioritizing them based on strategic business impact and risk profile
- Collaborate with business units to understand the criticality of supplier relationships and align assessment depth accordingly
- Develop streamlined processes for routing low-criticality requests to maximize team bandwidth for high-value tasks
- Prepare tailored, strategic executive overviews highlighting assessment statuses, critical risk findings, and actionable recommendations for leadership
- Analyze operational metrics to identify workflow inefficiencies and drive continuous improvements in TPRM toolsets and processes
- Engage regularly with cybersecurity leadership to present trends, challenges, and strategic opportunities in third-party risk management
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Success, Strategic Account Management, or a similar role, preferably within a Cybersecurity or Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) context
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and supplier risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to evaluate supplier engagement criticality and align risk mitigation strategies
- Strategic relationship management and customer advocacy
- Conflict resolution and proactive escalation management
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills
- Data interpretation and translating complex technical risk metrics into actionable executive insights
- Process optimization and workflow design
- Professional proficiency in English
- Professional proficiency in German C1 or C2
