Customer Service Supervisor

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer support by responding to inquiries and processing customer requests accurately and professionally. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, account managers, and internal departments to ensure excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customers and outside sales representatives with product and service inquiries. Process requests related to:
• Pricing and quotations
• Product availability and delivery schedules
• Order status updates
• Returns and credits
• Order expedites
• Product literature and documentation
• Provide technical product assistance and support when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.
• Work collaboratively with sales, operations, and vendor partners to resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while meeting departmental performance expectations.

Qualifications

Skills

Required:

• Experience in customer service, sales, purchasing, or a related role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Experience in industrial distribution or related industries, including:

• Hydraulics

• Pneumatics

• Fluid Power

• Electrical Products

• Power Transmission

• Motors and Motion Control Proficiency with:

• Microsoft Excel

• Microsoft Word

• Email applications

• Vendor pricing and business software programs
