About the Role As a Client Service Representative (CSR) at AmeriVet, you are the first and last point of contact for clients, delivering an exceptional client experience. You’ll manage appointments, answer calls, process patient information, and ensure smooth communication between clients and our medical team using our practice management system. This role supports pet families and helps streamline access to veterinary care. What You'll Do
- Answer calls and emails promptly with professional, friendly service.
- Schedule appointments based on client needs and veterinarian availability, including forward booking.
- Use technology to send appointment reminders, confirmations, and follow-up messages.
- Make outbound calls to re-engage lapsed clients and encourage scheduling.
- Greet clients and pets warmly and gather important medical information via active listening; triage inquiries and direct complex questions to the medical team.
- Demonstrate empathy and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
- Promote current promotions and campaigns to inform clients about offers and services.
- Update client and patient records in the practice management system accurately.
- Process billing transactions (credit card, digital payments, financing options, and insurance claims).
- Maintain organized records of client communications and appointments.
- Provide clients with post-visit instructions and follow-up care.
- Help maintain a clean reception area and assist with daily practice operations.
- Inform clients about services, preventive care, and how to book online or shop for pet products. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused approach.
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including scheduling software and online platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask during busy periods.
- Demonstrates empathy and the ability to handle upset or emotional clients in a professional manner. Compensation & Benefits
