• Specialist to support business near Rutherford, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, resolving order-related questions, and delivering attentive service across phone and email channels. The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced office setting where responsiveness, organization, and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring details are entered and updated correctly throughout the process.

• Investigate customer purchase inquiries by reviewing order information, identifying issues, and providing clear next steps.

• Track shipments and share timely delivery updates with customers while coordinating follow-up when delays or exceptions occur.

• Support return requests and product quality concerns by gathering information, explaining available solutions, and helping drive resolution.

• Respond to customer questions through phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and a focus on positive outcomes.

• Handle a high volume of service interactions while maintaining accuracy, sound judgment, and attention to detail.

• Work closely with internal teams to address customer needs, escalate complex cases when necessary, and keep records current.

• Contribute to a smooth in-office customer support operation with flexibility to assist during evenings and weekends as needed.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred, including backgrounds in retail, hospitality, call centers, or other customer-facing environments.

• Comfort handling phone and email correspondence in a fast-paced, high-volume support setting.

• Ability to research issues, solve problems efficiently, and provide thoughtful follow-up to customers.

• Flexible schedule with availability to work nights and weekends.

• Willingness and ability to work on-site in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in delivering customer-focused service while staying organized and attentive to details.
