WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Receive customer enquiries by phone, WhatsApp and at our office, and treat every one of them seriously
- Call customers to invite them in, or to arrange a visit to their property
- Work through the customer details the company assigns to you, and confirm each customer's requirements on the same day you receive them
- Record their answers accurately on our standard form - what appliances they run, how many hours, what they currently spend on fuel and electricity, and what they want the system to do
- Send the confirmed details to management the same day so a proper proposal can be prepared
- Follow up with customers who have gone quiet, and keep a clear record of every conversation
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Clear, confident spoken English on the telephone. Hausa is an advantage, not a requirement
- Excellent listening - you can take down what a customer says without losing the details that matter
- Disciplined about time: when a customer is assigned to you, that customer is contacted the same day
- Patient and organised. You will be making and taking many calls a day
- Comfortable with WhatsApp, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Living in Abuja and able to work from our office in Asokoro
Experience in customer service, a call centre, front desk or tele-sales is an advantage - but if you can listen well and write things down accurately, we can teach you the product.
