Customer Care Representative
Order Processing work is focused on responding to inbound customer calls (business-to-business or business-to-consumer) related to processing sales orders and resolving routine order/delivery issues including: Using a computerized system to gather information and confirm sales prompted by incoming calls. Responds to routine inquiries (such as address changes, delivery delays, etc.) by referring customers to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior team members. May promote products/services, but does not have a sales quota. May include operator services positions. A Support 4 requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include:
- Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.
- Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees.
- Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex.
