About the Role
The Customer Adaptation Engineer works on technical solutions for trucks that are customized to customer needs at Volvo Group Gent. You will analyze requests outside standard offerings, assess feasibility, and help ensure that adaptations can be designed, produced and delivered in line with customer requirements. What You'll Do

Assess whether a proposal is technically feasible within budget, fits the timeline and can be delivered on schedule

Advise other departments on technical product solutions and make independent decisions on concept execution

Collaborate with design, order planning, suppliers, sales engineers and other stakeholders

Ensure customized trucks can be produced efficiently and on time

Continuously improve and update your technical and product knowledge What We're Looking For

Bachelor degree, preferably in a technical field

Affinity with vehicles or experience in the automotive sector (a plus)

Strong team player with good social skills

Administrative, organizational and commercial strengths

Good networking skills

Proficiency in MS Office

Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus Nice to Have
