About the Role ULINE is seeking a Custodian/Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety of its Plainfield, CT facility. The role supports daily operations by ensuring a clean, organized work environment. This position is essential for maintaining sanitary facilities and contributing to a professional workplace.
What You'll Do
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain designated areas including restrooms, floors, offices, and break rooms.
- Empty trash, restock supplies, and monitor cleaning inventory.
- Operate custodial equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor machines, etc.) and follow safety procedures.
- Report maintenance issues and collaborate with facilities team to address needs.
- Adhere to company policies and cleanliness standards.
What We're Looking For
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and punctuality.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
