Job title: Cultivation Propagation Manager
About the Role A Cultivation Propagation Manager is needed to oversee propagation operations for Ascend Wellness' Barry, IL cultivation program. You will lead propagation activities, ensure healthy stock, and collaborate with cultivation and operations teams to support scalable plant production.
What You'll Do
- Lead propagation programs including cloning, rooting, pruning, and stock management for high-quality plants
- Manage propagation staff and schedules; ensure safety and compliance
- Collaborate with cultivation leads to optimize schedules, space, and resources
- Maintain accurate records, metrics, and SOPs for propagation activities
- Support continuous improvement and pest/disease prevention strategies
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in cultivation propagation or plant production management
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage a team
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and data-driven
- Knowledge of propagation techniques (cuttings, rooting, tissue culture) and IPM basics
Nice to Have
- Experience in cannabis, viticulture, horticulture, or beverage industry
- Familiarity with greenhouse operations and safety regulations
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 60,000 - 70,000 per year
- Full-time position; onsite work in Barry, IL
