Job title: CT/XR Technologist - South Campus Pool
About the Role The CT/XR Technologist is a staff-level position focused on producing quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages using CT and XR equipment in a pediatric care setting. This role supports imaging quality parameters with minimal supervision and collaborates with radiology staff to deliver a smooth continuum of care. The technologist may supervise student technologists during clinical rotations and contributes to ongoing education and safety within the CT department.
What You'll Do
- Perform CT and XR imaging on patients of all ages using CT scanners and related equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images with minimal supervision.
- Independently perform or assist radiographic procedures in collaboration with licensed independent practitioners.
- Prepare, administer, and document contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy.
- Educate patients and their parents regarding procedures and safety within the CT department.
- Maintain CPR certification, Ohio licensure, and ARRT registration; participate in hospital-wide mandatory education.
- Work with radiology staff and other departments to provide a smooth continuum of care; participate in rotations and supervise student technologists as needed.
- Be willing to cover XR and CT shifts at outpatient locations and Main Campus (locations include Springboro, Centerville, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Troy, Springfield, and Main Campus).
What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences.
- Certification/Licensure: Ohio Radiologic License; ARRT in Radiography; CPR; ARRT CT credential (advanced registry) preferred.
- Strong collaboration and patient-focused care in a pediatric setting; flexibility to cover multiple locations and both XR and CT shifts.
Nice to Have
- Advanced registry with ARRT in Computed Tomography preferred.
