Job title: CT Technologist & Radiology Tech

About the Role This position performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and tasks to ensure the assigned Radiology area runs smoothly and to support the physical and psychological needs of patients during examinations. It supports Logan Health's mission, vision, and values.

What You'll Do

  • Perform and document patient assessments using available information and patient perception of illness/condition.
  • Assist providers with examinations and procedures as directed and per scope of practice for the assigned area.
  • Maintain understanding of current exam protocols; collaborate with radiology to ensure up-to-date protocols are followed.
  • Accurately transcribe and implement provider orders and treatments; consistently problem-solve issues affecting patient care.
  • Follow current exam protocols to perform diagnostic imaging procedures; maintain accountability to technologist competency/quality control standards.
  • Review QA reports and take appropriate action; monitor equipment for malfunctions and alert leadership per procedures.
  • Assist with maintenance and coordination of repairs and services as needed; perform administrative responsibilities per department procedures.
  • Maintain regular attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology.
  • Current Montana State license in Radiological Technology.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology; knowledge of radiology equipment, supplies, and instruments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team and independently; integrity, kindness, and empathy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office.
  • Ability to learn additional software; critical thinking; detail-oriented; self-starter.
