About the Role The CT Technologist uses noninvasive computerized medical technology to take CT scan images used to diagnose, evaluate, and treat medical issues. This is a PRN/part-time, on-site role in Shelby Radiology at Logan Health, working within department protocols and maintaining safety and quality standards. What You'll Do
- Accurately perform CT examinations as defined by department protocols and ensure techniques comply with ACR standards and ALARA.
- Complete beginning and end-of-day duties per department procedures; stock assigned areas and assist with supply management.
- Maintain proper radiation and/or magnet safety; report malfunctions and document safety-related issues.
- Obtain patient history and exam-related information; evaluate data to ensure appropriate scans for accurate diagnosis; communicate questions per protocol.
- Prep patients for exams; demonstrate venipuncture techniques and I-stat competencies as applicable.
- Provide patients with follow-up information and post-exam procedures; review orders, prior exams, labs, and patient history; complete required documentation.
- Maintain regular attendance as scheduled; work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to department needs. What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Montana State Radiologic Technologist license as required by law.
- ARRT certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) required; CT registration by ARRT preferred or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter with critical thinking; able to work in a team and independently; strong prioritization.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional communication; strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive information tactfully and professionally.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to learn other software as needed. Compensation & Benefits
