About the Role The CT Technologist III - Nights supports imaging services at Edward Hospital by operating CT scanners, positioning patients, administering contrast, and acquiring diagnostic CT images under Radiologist directions. In addition to CT Tech II responsibilities, CT Tech III candidates are proficient in performing CT biopsies and assisting IR procedures to support comprehensive patient care. What You'll Do
- Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain images per Radiologist directions and procedures.
- Position patients, administer contrast media, and adjust images to obtain optimal diagnostic quality.
- Reproduce and deliver screen images and provide excellent patient communication to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
- Assist with CT biopsies and IR physician procedures as needed.
- Maintain patient service and safety standards, including on-call rotation and holidays as required. What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: IEMA licensure; ARRT (Radiology) certification preferred with requirement to be registered within six months; ARRT CT certification preferred with registration within six months; CPR/BLS current.
- Experience: 2+ years of CT experience preferred.
- General: Strong patient-facing skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow Radiologist directions and established protocols. Nice to Have
- CT biopsy experience and proficiency in assisting IR procedures.
- Additional certifications or coursework related to CT imaging and patient care. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $37.47 - $58.08 per hour (USD).
- Sign-on Bonus: $20,000.
