About the Role CT Technologist III will operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to obtain diagnostic images for physicians' review, following Radiologist directions and established procedures. The role includes patient positioning, contrast administration, image manipulation, and delivering excellent patient service while ensuring safety and accuracy. What You'll Do
- Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to obtain filmed images for physician diagnosis and treatment per Radiologist directions and established procedures.
- Position patients for procedures and administer contrast media injections.
- Manipulate and optimize images to obtain best image quality and reproduce screen images on film.
- Deliver excellent customer service, maintain professional communication, and reduce patient anxiety.
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions to promote trust and reduce anxiety. What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; minimum of an Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Licensure: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure.
- Certifications: ARRT (R) in Radiology; must complete certification and be registered within six months; ARRT CT certification required within one year.
- Experience: Strong computer skills; ability to troubleshoot software; CTA-Perfusion/Siemens post-processing experience preferred; prior CT experience preferred; willingness to cross-train to CT. Nice to Have
- Post-processing for CTA-Perfusion/Siemens experience (preferred).
- Prior CT experience (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $37.47 - $58.08 per hour (USD).
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000.
