About the Role CT Technologist III at Northwest Community Hospital will operate computerized tomography scanners to obtain diagnostic images per Radiologist directions and established procedures. They will position patients, administer contrast media, and manipulate images to optimize quality. CT Tech IIIs are proficient in performing CT biopsies and assisting interventional radiology procedures, in addition to CT Tech II duties. What You'll Do
- Operate computerized tomography scanner to obtain images for diagnosis and treatment per Radiologist directions and established procedures.
- Position patients, administer contrast media, operate scanners, manipulate images to optimize image quality, and reproduce screen images on film.
- Provide excellent customer service; explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
- For CT Technologist III, proficient in performing CT biopsies and assisting IR physicians during procedures. What We're Looking For
- IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure.
- ARRT (R) certification in Radiology and must complete certification and be registered within six months of start date.
- ARRT (CT) certification and must complete certification and be registered within six months of start date. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $37.47 - $58.08 hourly (rate determined by candidate's expertise and years of experience).
