Job title: CT Technologist
About the Role A staff level CT Technologist is responsible for producing quality diagnostic images on patients of all ages using the CT scanner and related equipment, with minimal supervision and adherence to department quality parameters. The role supports imaging workflows, collaborates with radiology staff and other departments, and ensures patient safety and comfort.
What You'll Do
- Produce quality CT images and operate the CT scanner and related equipment for patients of all ages
- Independently perform or assist radiographic procedures in collaboration with the licensed independent practitioner
- Prepare, administer, and document contrast media and medications in accordance with state and institutional regulations or policy
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and safety within the CT department
- Maintain CPR certification, Ohio licensure, and ARRT registration, and participate in hospital-wide mandatory education
- Support a smooth continuum of care and work with student technologists to provide a positive learning experience during clinical rotations
What We're Looking For
- Education: HSD/GED required; Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences required
- Certification/Licensure: Radiologic License - Ohio Department of Health required; ARRT in Radiography required; Advanced ARRT in Computed Tomography preferred; CPR required
