Job title: CT Technologist
About the Role The CT Technologist performs CT imaging procedures under the supervision of the Chief Cat Scan Technologist, Director of Radiology, Chairman, or Manager. This role ensures imaging procedures meet department standards and comply with state and federal regulations.
What You'll Do
- Performs CT diagnostic or therapeutic procedures within scope and departmental standards.
- Assesses pertinent information and prepares/educates patients for procedures and expectations.
- Completes documentation of patient care and procedure.
- Utilizes hospital and departmental information systems and equipment operations.
- Maintains productivity, adaptability, flexibility, and timeliness to meet patient care and department needs.
- Adheres to department policies, safety protocols for modality.
- Actively participates in departmental meetings, modality meetings, and committee initiatives.
- Completes hospital, departmental, and professional requirements.
- Participates in continuous improvement efforts aligned with management and organizational goals.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)-accredited program.
- Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current ARRT registration; Advanced certification in CT required within 2 years of hire; BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) or equivalent.
- Licensure: Licensed and Certified by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
- Experience: None required.
