About the Role CT Technologist II – Per Diem at Endeavor Health’s Evanston Hospital. This role performs CT examinations to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, following departmental standards. The Per Diem position includes afternoon/evening hours (2pm-10:30pm) with rotating weekends, and may require travel between facilities. Sign on Bonus: $1,000. What You'll Do
- Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
- Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner.
- Review CTs to ensure optimum quality.
- Per Diem commitment levels: Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule.
- Required Travel: Yes What We're Looking For
- Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
- Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required; ARRT Registered required.
- License: IEMA license.
- Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $35.35 - $54.79 per hour (USD).
