About the Role As a CT Scan Technologist at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT, you will utilize advanced, non-invasive CT imaging technology to capture detailed images that aid diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment. You will join a supportive, dynamic imaging team in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment. What You'll Do
- Perform accurate CT examinations in accordance with department protocols, ensuring alignment with ACR standards and ALARA principles.
- Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.
- Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures and post-exam instructions.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, stock management, and report equipment malfunctions per department protocols.
- Review orders, prior exams, labs, and patient history to ensure appropriate scans and accurate documentation.
- Provide patient follow-up information and post-exam instructions as applicable.
- Maintain regular attendance as scheduled. What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
- Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required).
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification (required).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Current ARRT CT certification (preferred) or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
- RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care, whichever comes first (required).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software. Nice to Have
- CT ARRT certification (preferred).
