About the Role Univar Solutions is seeking a CSR/Logistics Coordinator/Waste Management Technician to support customer-site operations, coordinating waste management activities, subcontractor performance, and onsite analytical instrument maintenance. This role requires adherence to safety and regulatory requirements while ensuring efficient handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

What You'll Do

  • Understand and apply RCRA, DOT & EPA regulations as they affect packing, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste.
  • Work safely with the goal of no incidents or accidents; comply with site rules and company policies.
  • Prepare or confirm accuracy of all paperwork for shipping hazardous waste; conduct site inspections and audits.
  • Consolidate non-hazardous and Class 2 waste for roll-off; arrange samples and profiles for TSDF submission; track profiles and resolve issues with TSDF, Sales, and customer.
  • Receive pickup orders for customer wastes; develop and coordinate monthly/quarterly pickup schedules with Univar ChemCare, transporters, and TSDF.
  • Perform waste sampling and submit to the appropriate TSDF; ensure timely TSDF processing.
  • Load/unload company trucks and carriers on customer site as needed using forklift or other equipment.
  • Prepare shipments for off-site recycling/disposal; inventory waste materials and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain a good driving record and obtain a CDL if required.
  • Develop and/or obtain certifications (e.g., CDL, CHMM, RCRA/DOT) aligned with responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, UVX, and AS400; ability to use Access for database management and reporting; Excel (intermediate).
  • Ability to classify waste according to RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations; willingness to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials.
  • Strong customer service skills; ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift per procedures; ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
  • CDL license if required; willingness to obtain endorsements or certifications (CDL, CHMM, RCRA/DOT).
