Job title: CS Business Analyst
About the Role CS Business Analyst responsible for maintaining relationships with end users for small to medium-scale projects and eliciting requirements throughout the systems development life cycle. The role leads requirements elicitation and documentation for small-to-medium projects and supports larger initiatives as part of a BA team under supervision.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate Plan & Define activities as part of the Requirements Development process for small to medium size projects
- Develop business process models and business requirements/user stories (functional and non-functional)
- Partner with the business community to develop comprehensive user acceptance testing/training plans and ensuring the application is successfully transitioned to production
- Investigate business issues and data challenges
- Serve as the requirements liaison across project stakeholders
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in an applicable business environment
- 3+ years' experience in a BA role
- Working knowledge and understanding of business analyst fundamentals
- Working knowledge of writing and leading Business Requirements Documents
- Working knowledge of business process modeling; knowledge in business/functional domain
- Understanding of business issues and data challenges of the assigned business area
- Understanding of business processes and how applications support the process
- Demonstrate collaboration, strong written and verbal communication skills, and analytical capability
- Ability to facilitate sessions with project stakeholders, asking probing questions to elicit business process discussion and creating process flow diagrams
