About this opportunity:
The CS & IMS Core Specialist is responsible for converting approved designs into tested and executable implementation packages, ensuring safe integration, migration, upgrade, and deployment of Core Network solutions within a live production environment.
What you will do:
- Analyze approved designs and prepare detailed implementation plans.
- Develop and validate configuration scripts, MOPs, test plans, and rollback procedures.
- Execute software upgrades, migrations, feature activations, node expansions, and integrations.
- Perform pre-checks, health checks, post-checks, and technical validations.
- Conduct integration, interoperability, and acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot signaling, configuration, and service issues across Core domains.
- Support CAB reviews, implementation windows, and change execution activities.
- Prepare as-built documentation and operational handover packages.
- Contribute to automation and standardization of implementation activities.
The skills you bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in telecom Core Network integration or deployment.
- Strong expertise in: CS Core & IMS and good expertise in PS Core.
- Hands on experience on UDC solution/5G Core SA nodes/PGs/HSSs-FE/HLRs-FE/FNRs/MSSs Blade Cluster/MGWs/ STPs/ DSC/IP-STPs/GMSCs/CSCF/MTAS/EME/AFG.
- Experience preparing MOPs, scripts, rollback plans, and change documentation.
- Experience with software upgrades, migrations, integrations, and live-network implementations.
- Experience with OpenStack, VMware, containers, or Kubernetes.
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, Perl, etc.).
- Exposure to automated deployment and testing environments.
