Job title: Crystal Growing Furnace Product Specialist
About the Role The Crystal Growing Furnace Product Specialist will support the Crystal Growing Furnace line, enabling researchers to grow lab-sized crystals using Bridgman, Czochralski or Stepanov methods. It supports growth of semiconductor materials (silicon, germanium and gallium arsenide), metals, salts and synthetic gemstones, with a precisely controllable pulling speed as low as 0.001"/min (0.025 mm/min) and a dedicated seed rod rotation motor. The Crystal Growing option can be fitted on select front-loading MRF furnaces via the top chamber port (e.g., Multi-application Laboratory Furnace or Arc Melting Furnaces).
What You'll Do
- Explain and communicate the product specifications, including adjustable pulling speed, 8" travel, seed-rod rotation, and included electrical, mechanical and control components.
- Assist customers with integration on compatible front-loading furnaces and provide application support for Bridgman, Czochralski and Stepanov growth.
- Interpret drawings, options, and installation details to ensure successful deployment.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of crystal growth techniques (Bridgman, Czochralski, Stepanov).
- Familiarity with semiconductor materials (Si, Ge, GaAs), metals, salts and synthetic gemstones.
- Ability to read specifications and mechanical/electrical system documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with front-loading MRF furnaces or Arc Melting Furnaces.
- Background in materials research, lab equipment, or technical sales engineering.
