About the Role Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Critical Environments Controls Engineer (CECE) on the U.S. Government Airgap team, you will play a key role in delivering the core infrastructure that supports secure and compliant data center operations. What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain critical environment controls for government-grade data centers (power, cooling, monitoring, security).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Airgap architecture, compliance, and incident response.
  • Monitor and optimize physical infrastructure to meet security and reliability requirements for Top Secret environments. What We're Looking For
  • Experience in data center operations management or facilities engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental controls, power and cooling systems, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Ability to work onsite in a government data center environment and communicate across cross-functional teams.
