Atrium Health, part of Advocate Health, is seeking a BC/BE Critical Care Physician to join our growing Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This is an opportunity to care for some of the region's most complex cardiovascular and cardiac critical care patients while collaborating with nationally recognized specialists at Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute. - Full-time (1.0 FTE)
- Cardiac Critical Care / CICU practice
- Practice locations include: Carolinas Medical Center, Atrium Health Cabarrus, Atrium Health Pineville (hired into a dedicated primary location)
- Flexible scheduling options, including: Traditional schedules, Nocturnist opportunities, Weekend-focused coverage
- Collaborative, physician-led critical care team
- Close partnership with cardiac surgery, advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology specialists
- Epic EMR
- Access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated within Epic
- Part of a nationally recognized, integrated cardiovascular care network
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Completion of accredited residency training
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Critical Care fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Cardiac critical care and/or CVICU experience preferred
- Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
